Villain is an unknown, I have just sat down and never seen him before. I really can't figure out what hand he has here, he's clearly quite fishy judging by his stack size, limp and min re raise but what should I do here? I don't want to play a marginal hand like this oop but I hate folding to to a min raise. 4bet bluff?

UTG - $15
UTG+1 - $13
MP1 - $13.55
MP2 - $20
MP3 - $18.40
CO - $31
BTN - $20.08
SB - Hero - $20
BB - $22.40

Hero is Dealt KJo
Preflop ($0.30)
UTG calls $0.20, UTG+1 calls $0.20, MP1 calls $0.20, MP2 calls $0.20, 2 folds, BTN calls $0.20, Hero raises to $1.60, 3 folds, MP1 raises to $3, 2 folds, Hero?

Fish always do this with monsters thinking they're all tricky and stuff, i'm sure some do it with crap but generally not. You're getting a good price to call for sure but i don't think we're gonna be happy hitting a J and maybe not even happy if we hit a K, and when we miss we probably have no fold equity and are just in a bad shape against his range. I'd probably just fold here because of his short stack and our fairly rubbish hand. 4bet bluffing would be suicidal.

This is rarely a monster. Its typically a smaller pair that originally he wanted to limp & setmine with, but now that you've beaten on his limp, he wants to get all in pre. I'd expect to see 77-TT type stuff most often.

I think I just shove it in given the fact that he's half stacked. There's too much money in there not to flip.

I'm kinda imbetween the two answers so far. Villain is an unknown it could be either of the two ranges described. Thing is we're not going to fare well with KJ vs either of them, the minraise is stronger than a shove would have been, and villain is an unknown, I usually see this line with junk when we've been raising up a very limp heavy table a lot. Seeing as villains an unknown this isn't the case.

I fold. I'm not prepared to shove this light till I have history. I'll extent my stacking range to account for this dodgy limp raise but not to the extent of stacking KJo.

Why are you raising into 5 limpers OOP with KJ in the first place?

What would you do here, fold? I don't want to play a hand like this multiway and I see it as a good opportunity to pick up all that dead money in the middle, and if I do get called by 1 or 2 then I go to the flop with a decent hand, I can either hit or take it down with a cbet a lot of the time

5 limpers, kj raise and he reraises, leads me to believe that his range is so open that hes raising with a small pair or something as bad as 7 5o.

i whould be folding and finding a better spot to get my cash in with.

I agree. Normally this smells like a middle pair, since players really don't know how to play them after the flop when a couple overcards hit the board...

However, I would be cautious about pushing all-in (or even calling) in case they do have a monster. If you call it, they will be first to act after the flop and will probably put in a big C-bet. I would fold it and find a better spot

Pretty standard raise imo.

depends how likely to call the limpers are, if you're expecting 3 of them to call even when you raise it up, then just don't bother because KJo plays like shit multiway, if you think you can get heads up often then by all means go for it.
Still not shoving or calling here, i've seen this done far to many times with monsters/ sometimes AJ type stuff that i'm never shoving here.

As an extreme example if all the limpers where 100%vpips I still raise this up.
I'd prefer to be heads up but if the limpers are all so loose we can expect them all to call most the time there is value to be had even if it will be a bitch to play multiway and OOP.
