How you play the hand has to be pretty player dependent. You don't give any indication as to how tight the BB is and or how often he 3bets.
Against a tight or unknown preflop is fine but it is on the flop where you need to decide what to do and form a plan for the hand.
Against a tight player the flop smacks his 3bet calling range hard, with two overcards often you can just fold here, lots of combos of AA KK AK QQ AQ, that's a lot of hands that beat us here so even against an unknown I don't think the backdoor draws are enough on the flop. It seems like a pretty clear fold on the flop.
I'd only continue against a really loose or weak/timid player and if that was the case I'd consider a jam on the turn. You might get a hand that beats us like AQ to fold but not much else.
The fact that you started the hand with only 76bb did you a disservice here as you don't really have enough leverage on a turn shove. If you had 100bb to start you could raise all in for $17ish on the turn you might have had some chance but not with only $11ish behind, hes never folding anything to that sizing.
Playing with the equity and giving him a 6-7% 3bet range suggests you are roughly 30% on the flop and only 25% on the turn, so the turn is also a fold with the odds he gave you. Its deceiving because you might think the T gives you extra equity but it isn't enough with just one card to come.

thanks for the analysis. i now see that it was actually an easy fold after flop. but it is really not that easy to decide what is the right move at that moment as i am still comparatively new and learning. it is only after it has happened i realize it was a wrong move...

Sometimes 4betting is optimal depending on our opponents fold to 4bet%. But we do turn our hand into a bluff then but it really helps our flop play.

When we 4bet pre we minimize the chances of our opponent hitting with weaker K and Q hands. Sure this is the worst flop and it's a fold but say if we only have one overcard on the flop. Now chances are a lot slimmer that our opponent has hit.
