I am not sure how I should have played this river, should I have bet it? My opponent snap called bets on flop and turn. What should I have done?

UTG: Angel gafon ($24.87)
UTG+1: Agility ($20.81)
MP1: Northern silt ($15.15)
MP2: Jarko ($20)
MP3: Ruiz ($20)
CO: Gawli ($20)
BTN: Sanbust ($20.96)
SB: Cruesix ($31.67)
BB: Hero ($23.44)

Preflop ($0.30) hero is dealt 10c, 10d
2folds, Northern silt calls, 5 folds, Hero raises to $0.80, Northern silt calls

Flop ($1.62) 3c,2s,4s
Hero bets $1.20, Northern silt calls

Turn ($3.90) 6c
Hero bets $3.07, Northern silt calls

River ($9.73) 7c
Hero checks, Northern silt bets $10.18 (all in), Hero?

Fold. There are a million cards that can beat you. Any set, any 5 , flush, 2 pairs etc.
Maybe if you raised harder preflop to make him fold pre.

Some read of some sort would be nice.

I think I'd lean towards the line you took and calling the river. We have very little information. But we know his likely draws are Ax, spades, and 5x. Two out of three whiffed, and I doubt villain would jam here with a lot of the other hands we lose to (two pair, sets).

So I think given the tiny amount of information that you've given us about this likely fish, I call this river. I don't feel great about it though, especially with villain snapping flop & turn.

I also make it $1 even preflop, because villain sucks and will call it.

Interesting hand.

thanks for the advice, what software would you recommend for obtaining stats on opponents?

You can start by using your eyeballs, remembering how the guy plays? You can get reads on opponents software free you know.

While c9 is right about using your own powers of observation you will probably want to get tracking software, if for no other reason than to review stats on your own play.

The two major ones are Holdem Manager and Poker Tracker. You won't go wrong with either.

If you are going to bet the turn here which I assume is for value then you may as well bet the river as well. Nothing has really changed.
