$20 NL HE Full Ring: JJ overpair + OESD facing turn shove

Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 16/8/1

Here what is our turn line facing a shove with overs and OESD. Villian min raises preflop I think flatting is ok here considering how aggro he is but what are your thoughts on the shove.

16/8/1 = aggro?

4bet pre get it in, or checkraise the flop, unless you think he's only doing this with qq+. You really shouldn't be in this situation on the turn, because if you want to play this hand against someone with only 50bb's

Also not seeing where 50bbs comes from.

obv I'm lost in this thread ...

This hand makes my head hurt a little.

On one hand, we've very much under represented our hand by check-calling the flop. Villain's probably much more likely to be putting us on a draw or overcards than he is an overpair.

On the other hand, we're still vulnerable to QQ+, sets and made straights.

I just can't put him on many hands that we beat where he shoves the turn like that. I can see QQ+ or a set doing it because they're scared of the huge number of draws that are out there. Does he really double-barrell like this with AKs/AQs?

I think I just cut my losses and fold this one.

FWIW, I probably would've lead the flop though. There's a good chance we're ahead at that stage but we want to charge the villain to draw and maybe get something like AK to float us for a street.

I think maybe I should have lead the turn?
Is that a good line?
