$20 NL HE Full Ring: Help put villain on a hand/range+ line ?

Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 27/20/7

Preflop I kind of made the mistake of flatting, probably should've folded, I don't remember in what state of mind I was that session.

That being said how do we play this hand ? Thoughts on my line thus far and what hand/range do we put villain on ?

BB: $30 (120 bb)
UTG: $8.90 (35.6 bb)
UTG+1: $17.60 (70.4 bb)
MP1: $24.45 (97.8 bb)
MP2: $7.75 (31 bb)
MP3: $28.50 (114 bb)
CO: $25 (100 bb)
BTN: $5 (20 bb)
Hero (SB): $33.30 (133.2 bb)

Pre-Flop: Hero is SB with 8<font color='black'>♠</font> K<font color='black'>♠</font>
5 folds, CO raises to $0.75, BTN folds, Hero calls $0.65, BB calls $0.50

Flop: ($2.25) [7d] [6h] [Kc] (3 players)
Hero bets $1.50, BB calls $1.50, CO folds

Turn: ($5.25) [Tc] (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $4.25, Hero ?

Now say the river is an 8c, what is our best action ?

You got top pair crap kicker. He shows aggression on preflop and the river. I dont like a call I really think you are probably beat most likely by a better K.

Ok, sounds fair. Now say we make the mistake of calling turn and river is 8c, what do we do then (oop, first to act)?

Overall villain was pretty bad too.

I'm assuming his range is pretty wide in this situation, the CO is probably attempting to steal and your call definitely priced him in with a wide range of hands. You could put him on a set of 6/7s as well as the nut straight on the turn with 89 or 2 pair w/ K 10.

IMO you don't beat much but air, your river 2 pair probably doesn't help much because if he flopped 2 pair he'd probably have raised.

What if he is making a play on turn trying to scoop the pot as I showed weakness. His AF is very high and he could have a straight/flush draw on flop that missed this turn ?

This is precisely why we don't call this preflop, we are OOP and we can't see many flops we like. Bet on flop is fine but it is a shitty turn card. Loads of villains pair hands add a draw, become two pair or even fill a straight. Add that to us maybe being outkicked and it stinks. I wouldn't mind leading out decently small and folding to a raise. We can get some value out of hands that are not a K and check folding seems weak and check-calling means we struggle on a blank river. If our turn bet is called I check-fold the river barring another K which we would value bet or an 8 which we check-call. That 8 puts us ahead of the two pair hands which are a possibility.

As played I call and reevaluate river.
