My guess is villain has a wide range here and most likely 1 pair (Jx kind of hand) which makes us a small favourite (52%) so with what's already in the pot we can call as said, although mostly a flip but +EV. Against all FD we are well ahead except for Axs which I doubt he has.. Even against JT we are only 35/65 behind which make a close to EV call. Results?

Well ya that was my thinking as well, 2 over cards and open ended straight draw. I didn't like that it was a 2 tone board but was almost certain this shove is never a monster hand.

Anyways I called and villain showed QJ. I turned a K and won.

I feel you should fold i know we got OESD and 2 overcards. But his stack is the problem here.

We really need to play more top heavy and no drawy type hands against these capper type guys.

.................

I feel when it comes to these shortstackers it's really easy to waste or get wreckless with your winnings. So becareful.

You hardly get the odds for anything and sure if he spaz's but remember you did cbet so he must like his hand somewhat, and you'd have to say he's hit that board, he's a bad player and he's telling us he likes something.

Ofc we get spaz shoves but u know on the table if this guy has been doing this beforehand nonstop or randomly shoving with air.

...............

Sometimes we get stupid when the price is low and risk things foolishly. But if the odds were better but we were deeper we'd prolly wouldn't call?

After he shoves, the pot is 9+ 37.5 bb = 46.5bb
It costs you 34bb to call. 34bb to 46.5bb = 1 to 1.4 (approx)
You have 8 pretty definite outs, and you are without a doubt behind (except the rare occasion of a flush draw)
45 cards left in the deck, 8 win. 8/45 = 1 to 5.6
You have no implied odds and your odds are only slightly increased with seeing two cards.
DEFINITE FOLD
