Tricky spot. Could well be floating flop with anything really, but sets raise on this board I think. Stats signal he should have ok awareness, so if we label him a decent reg what would he call call jam with? Guess AhKh is the only thing that makes sense, and it's ~1:2 otr. Is he bluffing here or valuebetting AKo a lot? doubt it. *EDIT* saw you held the Ah... haha that makes it even more interesting. KQh?

Don't think he's calling that flop with only a mediocre backdoor flush, If he has 99 he likely raises turn.

You think he would use this line with KQ, KJ vs an UTG open?

Well played, fold river I guess?

His aggression is really low, and he looks like a nit. I assume people would know he can't really bluff you off much here, so you'd expect it to be for value, but honestly, who knows what people understand at these stakes.

I'm calling. Very few hands that beat you here and unlikely he runner runnered something since you have Ah. Unless he slow played 22/33, or 99 might play this way, but getting like 3.5:1... snap call.

Normally a re-raise on the river means your beat and you won't be able to bluff your Ah...

I say fold... Hmmm remember theres draws on the flop/turn you should raise more because you'll get those peeps calling you and we need people to pay the price to catch you!.

Last of all if he is bluffing and you fold it's not the end of the world. He'll try again when your stronger they always do.

John could check raising pre with Aces be effective at all? Because I hate when i'm not re-raised pre and I feel I could be facing ATC. Opponents will have odds to pretty much chase you down with such a low pot. Should we consider Overbetting the flop?
