Only have 25 hands on the guy, I think I had 10 when this hand happened but he bought in for 50BB also so decided to treat him as a regular fish.

Do we keep v-betting here or slow it down? And if we check and villain shoves river, do we call?

Its a great scare card that doesn't complete a lot of hands. I'd fire again.

Yeah, thinking the benefit is I fold out Jx type hands that had me beat on the flop and flush draws, although a fish might as well call with those.

I bet the pot to put him all-in, turns out he had K8. oh well

I don't think you are folding out any Jx in villains range, but at this level Qx might not fold either.
if you do bet this turn, you are B/F. you have some showdown value and you got 1 street of value from a half stack. if at any point you bet during this hand you'd be priced in to call with almost any bet sizing.
you can't bet less than 4 because if villain shoves you have to ask yourself if you unintentionally induced. you can't bet over 4 because you are priced no matter what happens.


I see no merit in betting the turn, I'd c/c most non spade rivers, bet bricks like 2,3,4.
