Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 43/43/2

So I decided to take a shot at 20nl tonight. This is my 5 th hand in and the stats for villain are 43/43/2 but for only 7 hands. I also had a note on villain that he over values his top pair.

Hero should rethink that call post flop. Any 7,8,9,10,J or any diamond and your rockin' overpair turns to crap. That call should have been a huge re-raise. I would have put him on either a pair of J's or chasing diamonds. With the size of the last bet... he nailed the diamonds. And since you had the Q of diamonds, it left you wanting to chase, but the bet was big enough to make you lay it down... you were smart and folded. Am I right?

4-bet pre ftw.

flop, re-raise/get it in. You shouldn't really be in the position you are on the turn.

I did buy in for full but intertops doesn't top you off until you are a dollar down. I did think about the 4bet and honestly am not sure why I didn't 4bet there. I think thats why I stopped playing for a little bit after that because I realized I wasn't playing my A game already.

My advice (worth very little): 4-bet, probably around $5. Also, pot-sized bet on the flop, not check.

Questions to better players:
how much would you suggest to 4-bet in this situation? $5 sound right?

What about the check on the flop, I would have probably put in a pot sized bet on the flop, not a check. I would have also shoved to any reraise. Is this wrong? Should I be more worried about sets?
