I think this hand is interesting and would like some feedback.

Villian: Only have around 15 hands, he has a 23/25 and is quite aggro, although I'm not sure how much we can take from 15 hands. Anyhow; from the hands I've seen, he's not been like a crazy, he's played just a really TAG style.

pokerstars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.16 BB (4 handed) - PokerStars Converter Tool from http://www.flopturnriver.com

saw flop | saw showdown

SB ($41.86)
BB ($40)
Hero (UTG) ($42.42)
Button ($18.64)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K

BB checks, Hero ?

He does a standard cbet, but the interesting part is; he continues with another barrel on a brick card on the turn. Now, given this is my first "real" pot I've played, I know villian is thinking and double barreling this turn with bluffs is going to be horrid vs my range of hands, unless he thinks he can get me to fold a draw on the turn.

So; my question is, what do we do on the river we have 150bb behind and a pot with nearly 200bb in the middle and someone takes a bet/bet/check line? Is this usually weakness or is he checking hoping we barrel our worse hands on the river as bluffs or looking for a cheap show down? Given how much is in the pot and how much we have left behind, checking seems ok I guess when trying to narrow his range down as there's so few worse hands that will call a bet on the river. However; with that said; given how passively I played A,K is there a line we can take on the river where a player will call worse but will fold to a value looking bet? Like for example; if I just shove the river when checked too - am I more likely to get looked up lighter as opposed to if I stuck out a value bet?

I think this def looks weak, the hands that beat us AA/QQ...AQ? Surely just bet river and try for more value, it looks so much like AK to me, which has maybe got a bit worried about you flatting all his big bets, only thing is I don't want to bet 1/3 to half pot and get jammed on lol so because we have sdv and I don't want to be put in a shit spot with 1 pair I probs check it back.

Been thinking about this for like 10 mins now so interested to see others opinions!

Yeah, that's the problem - I felt if I value bet it was going to be way to thin, I just couldn't see villain calling the river.

With that in mind with the way I played so passively I was left with two options either check back and go to showdown or shove. It could look more like a bluff with missed flush draw, or I could be trying to get him to fold a better hand and "maybe" get villain to bluff catch with his worse hands he would never of called a value bet with, or is this way to much leveling here? Again though, with his strong PF/flop/Turn lines..I wondered if the paired rivered did just give him the nuts and he wanted me to bluff..

I hate this hand. I have no idea how to play it.

I guess I fold turn because after 3betting an UTG raise OOP he's not gonna have AJ ever, and I don't think he's gonna barrel a brick turn -- he's not dumb.
