As I analyze my hands, it turns out that this spot comes happens way too often, and most times I am in the dark on what to do. Looks like a big leak in my game that I need to fix if I want to not fail again at 50nl.

Villain plays: 58/25/3 with a 28% 3bet, aka 9/32, all min 3bets, over a 62 hands sample.

Hero plays: 36/29/1 on 116 hands. 9% 3bet.

Microgaming - €0.20 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (UTG): €20.00
MP: €21.20
CO: €26.05
BTN: €20.00
SB: €20.30
BB: €20.00

SB posts SB €0.10, BB posts BB €0.20

Pre Flop: (pot: €0.30) Hero has A:spade: T:heart:

Hero raises to €0.80, MP raises to €1.40, fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero calls €0.60

Flop: (€3.10, 2 players) 6:spade: 4:spade: Q:diamond:
Hero checks, MP bets €0.20, Hero calls €0.20

Turn: (€3.50, 2 players) A:club:
Hero checks, MP bets €1.70, Hero calls €1.70

River: (€6.90, 2 players) J:heart:
Hero checks, MP bets €6.90, Hero calls €6.90

Line looks totally stupid to me, even if I win this hands, I feel like I played it way too passive for someone who claims to be LAG.

What's your line here? From pre to river.

Cheers.

Pre I 4 bet, hes been 3 betting a lot so a 4 bet bluff is good, calling is horrible oop with an average at best hand.
As played on the flop I check and then raise that ridiculous bet.
As played on the turn I c/c
As played on the river I fold, given his stupid min bet on the flop and his pot bet on the river, he either has AJ, AQ or flopped a set of queens.

I play it the same up until the turn. I'm then going to donk the turn and river for value.

As played call, his bet sizing is a little worrying on the river but he's a manic and we have top pair so close your eyes and call.

I suspect his reasoning for it is, dont bluff fish :D

And we dont need to turn AT into a bluff when its fairly strong vs a guy who's constantly 3betting presumably worse, and we're getting a nice price.

I probably play it similar, if hes always gonna bet when we check i see no problem with x/c x/c x/c but i'd rather donk like deco said if we think he might check back at any point.

I'd maybe be tempted to fold the river vs a lot of guys just because pot sized bets are usually quite face up for strength, but if hes a maniac then obv not folding river for a pot sized bet without any bet sizing reads.

Ye this really. Too strong to fold given the odds and villains large 3bet% yet not strong enough to 4bet for value.
