I hope that was a misclick. Not c-betting is downright criminal.

As played, fold to the turn raise.

River check means he has a 9, not an A, imo.

And I agree, fold the turn when V check raises (as played)

Not much to say. You have to c-bet the flop to avoid the turn. Betting the turn turns your hand into a bluff and calling the 3-bet is a mistake. Better to check the turn and call a reasonable bet on the river, IMHO.
