$20 NL HE 6-max: Playing sets on coordinated boards

CO is 23/22/2.6 over 77 hands, BTN is 23/17/1 over 30 hands - small sample sizes for both.

Sets on coordinated boards make me nervous... What kind of planning should we be making for the various streets, especially the flop?

The board is unusually coordinated in this hand, and it's a multiway pot. I'm also curious as to the kinds of plans that should be made for HU, and where the board isn't showing both a possible flush and a possible straight, say 789r and Hero's holding 88, or a monotone flop headed by the K and Hero's holding middle set, facing some action from Villain.

Not really what this post is about, but I think I should have 3bet this hand pf...

Stacks:
* CO with $25.00
* BTN with $24.65
* SB with $25.10
* BB with $73.95
* UTG with $30.25
* MP with $46.60

Blinds: $0.10/$0.25
Site: pokerstars
* * Dealt to SB:9♣ 9♥
* * Sklansky group 3
Preflop:
* * 2 players fold.
* * CO raises $0.50 to $0.75
* * BTN calls [$0.75]
* * Hero calls [$0.65]
* * 1 players folded.
* * Total folds this street: 3
* * Potsize: $2.5
Flop: 9♠ K♠ 10♠
* * Hero: checks
* * CO bets [$2.50]
* * 1 players fold.
* * BTN raises $6 to $8.50
* * Hero ???

Let me simplify -

1. CO's betting the pot - feels a little big for a cbet, what range should we be giving him?

2. BTN's raise - he's obviously got something he likes, and I don't think he cares that Hero hasn't folded yet - what range should we be giving him?

3. For Hero, is this a clear raise/shove or a clear fold?

Thanks

A repop strikes me as fishy. If I flop the nuts here I call hoping you follow in, not raise to scare people out. Maybe someone could hit a straight or 2pair and pay off big at the end. The big raise from the button should have come on the turn, especially in position.

In your spot, I am mainly worried about big draws in this spot, probably top pair with the A of Spades or a straight draw. A straight is possible, as any pair and any spade can beat them, but a scary board for him. I imagine I'd call and hope the board pairs....but definitely a very tough spot.

id reraise btn, u prob have him beat id say he most likely have ace spades with a pair but i dont like calling and giving 2 ppl a turn with all the draws out there. i dont like the option of 3 betting out of position before the flop with 99 ur forced to cont bet and there are too many bad flop for that hand

I just ship it in here, so many draws you have to charge here. Even if they have it here you have some equity still. Squeezing with 99 is bad as well as you cant call a 4bet and are in a lot of sticky situations post flop and its a hand you want to see a flop with. So pretty much what mecoble said.
