with UTG raise I would expect him to bet this more often so I would rather check raise this instead of donking

But he is a good player and I don't wanna scare away TPTK/overpair sort of hands. Check/calling a set OOP on 2 tone board is never a good idea in my opinion.

I am probably folding when he comes over the top in the river, good player, has a lot of outs against you and you are OOP as well.

I think the bet on the flop is ok, but beyond that, as soon as he raises on the turn I am folding.

X/R is ideal here IMO. If he always folds everything less than sets/2P/combodraws to a X/R then you should be X/R bluffing these boards to force him to adapt.

Not always but most of the times the turn bet would be a fold. Where as donking a set has lead me to get 3 streets of value several times against 1 pair hands. But I guess on 2 tone boards I should be looking to check raise to get max value from flush draws.

Donking the flop was the right move. You have to fold the turn if you think he has the flush. Also you might try a blocking bet on the river.

Just a consideration: Which flushes raise UTG and get there on this board? Like only AQs exactly? Maybe 109s? That should narrow his range significantly especially since his PFR is 24% so his UTG PFR really shouldn't be above 10?

I guess KK and JJ are definitely in his range and would play the hand exactly as villain did. AK is probably not doing this and KJ probably isn't either.

Havnt read anyones comments yet

But check raising this board headsup is always good cuz ppl with ak or 2p will get value.

And the turn is a good example why u want to get that extra money in on the flop.

Leading out another errot on turn id check call and go into a showdown for cheap mode on turn only because we werent aggro on flop

Line u took would b the passive against solid regs who dont make many mistakes.

Against fish or weak sticky guys we want to gii

As played we got showdown value and its a call i can see ppl sem bluffing with Ad type hands on turn or just getting out of hand

Aggro fish would b a jam river

I can see AdK playin like this

He is 33/24 he probably doesn't even have an UTG range in 6 max. A lot of players don't really adjust opening range too much on position in 6 max poker at this level.
