$20 NL HE 6-max: Hit set oop, no action on flop
This is a spot that's been killing me lately. A few years ago, I'd lead into the preflop raiser here, hoping to illicit a raise, and if they folded I just assumed I wasn't winning a big pot anyway. However, I've been hearing lots of people I believe say that check/raising is more +EV than donking here, so that's what I've started doing.
My problem is how to proceed when something like this happens. On the turn I feel completely lost. This is my very first hand at the table, so I have no reads whatsoever, all unknowns.
