Pre Flop: (pot: $0.30) Hero has K:spade: A:diamond:

UTG raises to $0.60, fold, Hero calls $0.60, fold, fold, fold

Flop: ($1.50, 2 players) T:diamond: K:diamond: 5:diamond:
UTG bets $0.95, Hero raises to $3.00, UTG calls $2.05

Turn: ($7.50, 2 players) 4:spade:
UTG checks, Hero bets $5.00, UTG calls $5.00

River: ($17.50, 2 players) 5:spade:
UTG checks, Hero bets $11.40 (all in),

Preflop I elected just to call since he seems pretty tight preflop and 3betting an utg open looks very strong so I wanted to keep his range wide.

Flop I wasn't sure whether to just call or raise. I elected for a raise to get value from worse K's and other pair + flush draw hands like QQ,JJ with a diamond

Turn I bet for same reasons as I raise flop

River I'm not sure if shoving here is too thin? It's tough to know how often he will just look us up with 1 pair but then again there really aren't that many hands he can have that beat us. I would expect made flushes (which there aren't many if any in his range) to 3bet flop, I'd also expect sets to 3bet flop.

Thanks in advance

I like your line and the river shove. It looks quite bluffy and can probably get a call from weaker. It is pretty mysterious what he called you down with though...

All in or value betting on the river is fine for me. I think I would just call on the flop. At the turn, half of the pot bet for me cause he might fold.

You played this better than I would have and I agree with your line here. I'm thinking he had AK as well, or K with Qd or Jd to call you down like this.

Hello there js520, I'm gonna chime in if you don't mind. Ok, here's my review:

I don't like the preflop flat for a couple of reasons: We will most likely be in position and when IP we want to play as many big pots as possible (especially when villain is 100BBs+ deep). According to your observation of the villain, his pre-flop range UTG is pretty tight; thus, I doubt he will go anywhere with a 3bet. Another reason is that there are 3 players behind us to act and our hand becomes more vulnerable in multiway-pots if someone decided to tag along with 7s8s per say (for example, if the flop came 8s9s10, we would have been pretty much forced to fold it against 4 players as opposed to just 1 or maybe 2 if we 3Bet an UTG open).

On the flop: Dream flop for our hand. I would've called flop and raise turn big if villain Cbet twice. But, it was fine as played.

Turn: pretty standard bet on the turn as we see that the villain is somewhat strong when he called that flop raise. However, what would you have done if villain raised over you on the turn?

River: at this point the villain had shown a lot of strength, but not enough to call a shove IMO (unless he slowplayed a set on the turn with that board). Now, in some cases I would've checked that river depending on how nitty or passive your opponent is. But I don't think your opponent will show up with pocket 10s often enough for it to be a thin value bet (as KKs is very rare given we have one, 55s once in a blue moon from UTG).

The hand was played great overall: A.
