What do you guys think of my line and the villains line?
What range do you put him on ? Would you do anything different?
Note that i've been very loose aggresive on this table so could see them
trying to make me fold on boards like this.
I only have 23 hands on the villain and he is a P-FISH.
I think everything till the turn was standard.
Now i had to make a decision on the turn. The turn bet gave me 3-1 so i needed 25% equty to call. I had 16% if i thought he had the 9 and even though there are some reverse implied odds i thought there were some bluffs in his range and i could have the best hand. It sucked that i had the AK with the A of clubs cause it narrows down the bluffs he could have here. But then again i dont see any 9x except the A9 and some weird two pair playing like this. A set maybe but why a min raise on this wet board ? But then again he is a fish...
On the riv with this bet sizing he is repping a boat and i guess I am kind of at the bottom of my range + i have Ac and i think folding here is the right play but i talked myself into calling.
That was my thought process. Tell my what you think.

I think you can fold turn pretty comfortably, you dont really have reads to suggest hes betting worse than A high, you having the Ac is kinda bad for us since it reduces his flush combos,

Pretty unlikely villain x/mins something worse than A high

With the Ac, I fold the turn. don't think he has any bluffs here but being a fish its hard to say.

Yeah i think you are both right and in the long run isnt going to be profitable unless i have more sample size and better reads.
The villain showed JTo.

Are passive fishes different in 20NL than in lower limits?

Not in general. But it is a blind vs blind war and you have to put table dynamics in play cause i have been really loose aggresive.

This is true, people like to play back at a LAG after a while of them stealing pots. so blind on blind he very well could try to get you to fold a better hand.

The flop minraise is fishy nonsense and usually draws hoping you won't bet the turn. So if he was drawing why not take the free turn card?
Most players will call preflop really wide here so he could have all sorts of draws.
The river sizing is polarised to nuts or air I can't see a medium strength hand betting that big for value so it's at least trips or total air. That being the case I don't mind the call down against an AF of 5 that is high and bluff heavy. AF of less than 2.5 I probably fold.

Rule number 1 against these guys.

If they are betting they have us beat.
If we hit k or a its stack off mode which didnt happen so we can let go.

So typically my strat here against this type of player is
1. Hit a or k and just bet like crazy and if we whiff flop we get out.

If against a reg or someone who can find a fold. Id call the flop and raise or even shove turns... but i am just a touch aggressive

Also a side note these guys dont usually care about ranges or position... all they care about is playing their 2 cards and having a bit of fun
