One of those PLO guessing games for me. 0.01/0.02, no HUD. Top two pair OOP gets raised. I'm way behind 3 combos of 44 or two combos of QQ/AA and sort of tied with 4 combos of AQ, but sufficiently ahead of any straight draws, especially since I have one myself.

I can see any 44/AA/QQ/AQ raising IP because of the draw, but how often does a draw or pair with draw raise me here? Most of the time?

Dealt to Ninelions [Qs Kc 9d As]
savvas-gate7: folds
tibbbb: folds
Ninelions: raises $0.05 to $0.07
Bombardiero: calls $0.07
VaDiiA: calls $0.06
Jeckel_86: folds
*** FLOP *** [Qd 4h Ac]
VaDiiA: checks
Ninelions: bets $0.16
Bombardiero: raises $0.54 to $0.70
VaDiiA: folds
Ninelions ??

We have a straight draw? I guess we have a blocker.

IIRC, 2c plo plays very weak tight. And without at least a gutshot to go along with top two, I cant see us having a ton of equity.

I'm assuming you all have full stacks, right?

probably call if the 4h were the 4s and see what he does on the turn. fold here without reads.

Weak/tight, but also with players who overvalue their NLHE hands, though I suppose that doesn't apply here unless it's a naked ace.

And yeah, full stacks. I cut that out to make it easier to read.

That little bit of extra equity? Seems like not a big difference?

It's a huge difference because you can stack off on a turn spade instead of folding.

So your plan is to call and fold 2/3rds of turns in that scenario?

Yes, but he probably checks back the turn 20-30% of the time, too.

The only hand I lose more money on than top two pair would be three of a kind Aces.
My assumption here is the guy has the JT and I would not chase the flush, myself even though it is Ace high flush if you hit, but even that can get wasted with a dup card on the turn or river by a boat.

I don't know what the rest of your post means but I'd be surprised if you are losing money with top set or top trips.

I was tellingNine Lions, an opponent will raise pot limit or no limit 100% of the time with this Ace high straight on a flop. Does one chase when there is a made hand on the board? A gambler would. I am a grinder and would save my money and fold this hand with the cards NineLions has. 2 pair on the flop is still chasing in PLO.
A duplicate card(another Ace or Queen) on the turn or river would give Nine Lions a full house(boat), but the 70 plus cent raise is not worth calling. It is just as likely a K or 9 would appear onthe turn or river and if the other player already owns a K9JT, it would improve his straight to a full house.

*** FLOP *** [Qd 4h Ac]

No one has a straight or a flush draw on this board.
