So this hand comes up and I raise, and he/she calls...Now the flop isn't the best but it's not the worst possible flop, so I bet out, and they call? Now my question here is do we bet turn again? Do we check the turn? Since the turn card isn't really bad at all (With 1 over card to the board, I mean I'm good to bet again aren't I)? Yet the river is the worst river card...Now I have some questions for you all, what is his river bet meaning? What do you all think he has? Did I play the hand badly, and should've just checked the turn and got to a cheap showdown with it?

I personally felt they didn't have the ace since they didn't RR on the flop (Could be bad thinking on my part though), I also didn't feel they had some thing really big like 2 pair or anything cuz there's no RR not even once at all, so I'm good to calll correct? Did I play the hand over all badly?

I can't give you info on the player since I don't really know much about him/her except they love to call alot, and they don't fold pre...It was a 6max table but the table got broken up and only he and I were left

You have almost 4k posts, you haven't heard of WA/WB. Why should anyone help you, since its obvious you're more into posting than listening?

Check flop + value bet turn if checked to again. Can probably call one barrel on the turn if he bets. You are HU after all so an ace is a small part of his range.

C9, thanks for the link. I had heard of the concept but that post is a great explanation/example of it.

Also, don't be too hard on OP. He has (I believe) mostly been a tourney player up until now (with some nice scores) and is just transitioning to cash.

Its not uncommon for tourney players to have weaker fundamentals than cash players from what I have observed and read. He's making the effort to get better.

So you are heads ups without a lot of info. I bet you still have info on this player. Do you use a hud? is he/she passive or aggressive? What are some of the betting habits flop, turn, river? Fold to c-bet % other stats. You say they love to call but do you have any data on betting? Bet

If they are a callin station i would check the flop. If they have ace they will bet the turn or they will bluff but if really passive only bet ace and probable not bluff. If not they will still call turn bet if they would call flop bet plus you give them another card to catch something to help their hand.
I would raise more preflop if not intending to play heads up for a long period of time and given villains stack size.

But as played no reraise preflop so no A-10 and no pairs larger then 77 unless really passive player. Flop no rr but that doesn't tell you anything at this level if villain doesn't have a high aggression factor. So villain could have Ace weaker kicker, Q, or flush draw or even a 3 or slow playing a ace with good kicker but unlikely with flush draw.

Turn check. Without too much info check unless you want to get allin by river i would check this turn. If you bet you will call any river bet right? so either check or bet with plan to shove on river. You could shove here and villain could fold Ace small.

River I think you are beat. Either busted flush draw or you are beat. Why didn't he beat his/her last .08. if you are calling $.16 you would call $.24 so i would think they want a call even more.
