What do you guys think of this play?? Should I have stopped firing earlier and kept to the motto small hand small pot? Or should I just keep value betting when I think I have the best hand?

Just shove the river yourself. Leaving him with 32c when he's going to call off with a lot of worse hands is bad.

Yeah as others have pointed out your 3 bet should have been way bigger pre, like $.24-$.30, as for the flop the bet is fine, turn bet is fine, but river I'm just shoving them in.. (Never folding both ways, that's just me personally)...But if you are unsure on the river, then why bet yourself? Also I'd think that because they didn't at any point RR us, that they themselves were in fact weak, so because of this thinking, I'd shove them in on the river rather then bet and let them shove the rest in

I would just shove river. Really dry board. Your basically only losing to a set and he is prolly just going crazy with Q10 or something like that. Figuring top pair is good.

You're supposed to lose your stack here. This means trying to find ways not to is basically pointless.

Just wanted to make a raise, not sure when or how much to raise. Sometimes I think I am scared to make them fold and Id rather get a caller and win more in the long run.

When you make a substantial raise you will only get called by AA,KK,QQ and will lose quite often and I guess that has been my thinking alot. Just raise enough to leave out the suited connectors and lower pairs, but to keep a lot of the hands that you beat like AJ, A10s, JJ etc.

Any good links to bet sizing?

People aren't nits at 2nl and will call a substantial raise with WAY more than QQ+. If they don't, I suggest you find a different table/site or bluff raise A LOT more.

anyway, the standard 3bet size is anywhere from 3-4x the original raise so here I would've raised it to .24

Ok, point taken, but they are not stupid either and the vast majority will not go crazy unles they have a good hand.

But this puzzles me. I used to loose a lot on pocket AA cause I couldnt fold them. I have reas that beginners get married to their premium pairs even if they dont improve. In this case all i have is a pair and i try and not get too comitted to it. What makes this not a case of 'getting married' to a premium pair?

Loose - Not firmly or tightly fixed in place; detached or able to be detached: "a loose tooth".

Lose - to come to be without (something in one's possession or care), through accident, theft, etc.,

As for the hand, raise way more pre, should be to at least 18c, and jam the river.

3bet preflop should be more. Always 3x min. Add more in this case because you are OOP. Postflop looks fine. Just put him in on the river though.

You lost a lil control of the hand by not betting bigger pre flop - it looks like ur just proteting ur blind. But you might have invited him to his doom with a KK trap. Problem is - 2 pair happens And I think he may have hit it. Wither way Im shipping my chips and hoping he has a Aj / AQ kinda hand. My guess is he has qj.

I beg to differ about them not being stupid
