Turn: (72 BB, 2 players) A:heart:

Im just not sure why he called my 3bet on the flop or why he called my shove on the turn. Did it look like I was bluffing? I admit, i should have 3bet preflop, and I should have lead out stronger on the flop, but when I fired back with the 3x raise on the flop, i thought that would send the message that I wasn't kidding around.

You already mention the mistakes you made - not 3 betting, small flop bet.

His stats are very station-y. So you are facing FD, SD, Ax with FD (you only need to worry about an Ac here) but his call OTF and the A OTR, you are probably best checking the turn. Sadly you have no idea where you are at.

Dont call from the blinds with a hand like this, unless you know BB will 3bet, but his stats show this to not be true.......

I get it's only over 26 hands, but from the gap in your VPIP and PFR and from the hand you've given, it seems like you're calling WAY too much. If you're flatting KK (out of position too), what exactly is your 3bet range? Are you only 3betting aces? You want to limit your calling from the blinds as much as possible, especially when you have AA/KK...

Flop isn't terrible and what exactly is your aim to show you aren't kidding around? If you think you're ahead you should be praying he calls, Kings isn't a kind of hand that needs to be turned into a bluff on a flop like that.

1. Play with a full stack. Use the auto-top-up function to ensure this.
2. 3-bet preflop to 9+bb. You do not want to give BB the odds to enter with a wide range, and you want the initiative postflop. Also, if we get 4-bet, we'll be pretty happy getting it in.
3. Flop is good, but you can start with a bigger bet. 6+bb would be better.
4. Your stats look fishy. You seem to have some serious preflop issues. You need to tighten up significantly as you're playing twice as many hands as you should. You also need to be more aggressive. Raise more, 3-bet more. Get value from your big hands, and that starts preflop.
5. Keep posting hands like this. You seem to have the right attitude, so you should improve fast if you listen to the advice given and really take it in.

BB here likely has 99/77/55. Their raise on the flop is telling me they are looking to build a big pot earlier so that they get paid off larger in the long run. The Ace on the turn changes nothing because they aren't putting you on Aces as you didn't 3-bet. Your hand is now a bluff and not very believable because the only two hands that are beating on the turn are 68 and AA, which is very unlikely for your range of hands the way you played it.

Conversely, opponent doesn't have AA either based on their calling your raise on the flop.

I'm curious to see what they had, but I'm thinking you were drawing VERY slim on the turn.

In regards to 1, it was a short stack table. Max buyin was 1$ as opposed to the normal 2$. So I was up buy 25bb before this hand.

I'm thinking preflop 3bet should be to 9bb, and flop should have opened with pot size, which would be 18bb if I would have 3bet.

4. Thanks, I'm trying to watch the range visualizer to see which hands in playing too much.

5. Thanks, it would be awesome to play a game I love and also turn a profit while doing it haha :) even if its a small profit. I'm sure it wont be too long now.

Opponent had 98 offsuit... He called my shove with nothing but a pair of 9s and a gutshot draw, he rivered an 8 for two pair. I tilted, played a few more hands before I realized I was tilting and then signed off.
