SB: $2.39
Hero (BB): $2.14
UTG: $2.11
UTG+1: $2.17
MP1: $1.90
MP2: $0.84
CO: $2.07
BTN: $5.38

Pre Flop: ($0.03) Hero is BB with 9 :club: 9 :diamond:
4 folds, CO calls $0.02, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.06, CO calls $0.04

Flop: ($0.13) 9 :spade: 2 :club: K :spade: (2 players)
Hero bets $0.12, CO calls $0.12

Turn: ($0.37) A :club: (2 players)
Hero bets $0.36, CO calls $0.36

River: ($1.09) 6 :club: (2 players)
Hero bets $1.60 all in, CO calls $1.53 all in

CO is 28 / 0 (!) / 2.3 over 60 hands

I figured he has a flush draw or a King with weak kicker (probably suited).

1. Triple barrel OK or not?
2. Sizing on river OK or not? River does complete a backdoor flush but I figured that it was unlikely he was chasing it.

Raise more pre, cos we have a limper. Then bet, bet, shove.

I am in BB though with only 1 limper, what are the rules here?

So the line I took was good, that is good to know. I am trying to be more proactive in these spots against persistent callers, in theory it should be profitable.

Still raise more, esp cos we're oop.

I would make it 8c, others on the forum would suggest more than that.

Thanks.

My first spoiler:
He holds K T and I lose horribly as per standard procedure :D

:D Well whatever I do these days is completely irrelevant anyway, I am just getting slaughtered by people chasing sub 10% chances and hitting left and right.

Exception are tournaments, I am doing great in those for some reason so the bankroll is kind of staying at the same place.

Idk, but river bet isn't the best way. I prefer check cause he rarely call the river with K here or he missed a draw. He's going to bet his two pair himself. Either you check or bet you get paid by two pair or smth here. But you can induce some missed draws? I know theres reverse. You can get called by weak hand if you bet and get a check if you check. Daamn. Ill post this anyway.

Need to raise more pre somewhere in the neighborhood of 6bb-10bb.

I would make it 5BB pre. I tend to bet a little bit less on the flop and turn, still shoving the river though so result would be the same.

Unlucky about the outcome but you played it the best possible way, all that matters.

HoldOnTheRail - If I check he checks with a weak hand, but would likely call anyway with a Kx.

ScottishMatt - Thank you, that is what I wanted to find out. My luck has got to turn eventually and I want to help it if I can :D

I agree about the raise amount needs to be higher, 4-5 BB seems right on average. It would change nothing here but I will try to make the sizing change in the future.
