Ok, I just have 4 hands on the villain, but I'm assuming he tends more to the passive side, but I also think he will be overvaluing his top pair hands.

I decided to call OOP because I didn't think my hand could stand a 4bet.
After the he 3bets my check/raise on the flop I believe that he could do that with so many Ax, possibly flush draws and sets, but I really think that a set would be the top of this range.

So I decided to shove as you guys see. Do you think it was a bad reading/decision or he did show the top of his range?

If he could overplay AK on this flop then this is fine. There's only two combos you lose to as 33 is less likely given his early open-raise.

Personally, I'm just flatting his 3-bet, looking to get it in on a non-K turn, but meh. This is fine. You just ran into the very top of his range...

I think that you must raise preflop with this hand, but sometimes you will see three of kinds but not always.

Thanks guys.

TimovieMan, I thought about just flatting as well, but I wouldn't be very comfortable in playing a huge pot OOP, also I think he could have folded some hands of his range there.

I probably just call his 3-bet, and let him shove the turn, but it doesn't really matter. Once you check/raise the money is going in shortly, and I think you have to call it off since villain is a taggy looking unknown.

I agree that flatting his 3-bet is best. Later getting it in if no heart or king comes in the turn. Unlucky you ran into such set.

If possible hide the results or don't post them though! :D

I have been looking to introduce more 3-bets into my play and this seems like a spot where we would like to 3-bet. Besides that, yeah, we flop two pair, just figure out how to get it in. V more often than not has Ax here. We hope they have AK and get it all in with us. Yeah, just saw results. V having a set happens so infrequent, plus +EV getting it all in regardless of results.

I like your play and I wouldn't 3b pre. On flop you have enough vs his range, he's rarely bluffing and a care card could come vs AK the times he has it so, nh

I go a bit over my skill level, but he should only really have one draw here KhQh which he might play like this sometimes. Also he will not play AK like this most of the time, but given draw on the board he might decide to protect.

So if we give him { AA,QQ,33,AKs,KhQh} [5 sets, 2 combos TPTK, one draw with pair] we get 36% equity on the flop. If he decides to bluff 50% off suited AK we are 50% equity. I would rather play this small if possible because lack of draws. Then again this is 2NL so getting it in definitely is not a mistake, especially with the read of overvaluing TP.
