Party Poker - $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Holdem (9 players)

SB Hero: $2.01
BB: $2.01
UTG: $2.05
UTG+1: $2.19
MP: $2
MP+1: $1.13
MP+2: $2
CO: $1.76
BTN: $0.41

Pre-flop: ($0.03) Hero is SB and dealt :10h4: :10d4:
UTG folds, UTG+1 raises to $0.04, 5 folds, Hero raises to $0.12, BB folds, UTG+1 calls $0.08

Flop: ($0.26) :qd4: :qc4: :5d4: (2 players)
Hero bets $0.20, UTG+1 calls $0.20

Turn: ($0.66) :qd4: :qc4: :5d4: :9s4: (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets $0.31

Villain is kinda loose passive with VPIP of 26 and PFR of 8. I feel the cbet is ok since its a paired board and short handed so I feel a Queen is still kinda unlikely. However, I was afraid of overcards so I shut down after the turn and planned to check to a cheap river. Is this pretty standard? How would you guys play this with JJ?

JJ folds to this flop bet, As for the question of being too passive, I think we are too aggressive with PP here. Standard UTG raises indicates a premium hand most of the time. Not enough info on villain here tho.

He's described as passive, I doubt he has it in him to float and then bluff the turn.

Hey guys. This is on a different villain but this villain is kinda passive preflop, open limping and calling with a VPIP of 70 or so. However, post flop, he would take alot of pots from me by floating my cbet and betting big on the turn or overbetting on the river to take it down. This was a read I gained after losing about 5 pots to villain (not big and I was able to use the reads to take down a big pot later) but it just showed me that pre and post can be very different.

don't 3-net passives when they raise in EP.
