Cant really post position wise in the title as this was a very loosely played speculative hand. Still I would appreciate opinion on how the hand is played.

I'm a novice, but I think its fairly obvious from the turn that SB has a 5. the question I would have is if he also has the 7. I think the only way I know to answer that is by reading his range. Of course, SB is getting a good price to play preflop so a one-off connector(possibly suited) may be in his range for the small blind.

Now that I think about it, he probably had a 5 and another card that's a heart. Maybe 10 5 or 9 5 hearts? Hit the straight and sucked out on the river. I think you made a good call though because realistically you can expect he has the straight, but the chances that he also has the 7 are slim. Again, I'm a novice, but I think you would win this situation enough times to justify the pot odds

I agree with mbrenneman0. Even against 75 you still have 20% equity and against other 5x you have equity edge bc redraw to flush. But at best imo this is close to EV zero whatever you do, fold or call in the long run.

Flop bet of 1 bb??? That's practically checked to you. Raise that shit up! No need to slowplay your monster.

Turn shove sucks because that's one massive bet to call with a hand we're chopping with at best if we don't improve. But with the nut flush draw we can't fold it since we're freerolling a naked 5.

Without the flush draw, I'd suggest a fold. It's going to be -EV however you look at it because even if you chop, you still lose because of the rake. And if SB has 57 then you lose a ton.

Wouldn't have been so bad if you had just raised the flop.

The drawing villain is a TAG raise full pot and he'd probably fold.
