You should have checked the flop and maybe even the turn as well to give your opponent a chance to hit something.
At least 50% of the time he wont have a club and if he doesn't have an ace you were unlikely to win much anyway.

Why do you bet pot size bet on that flop? i think you should just check, because there is small possibility that there is someone catch a pair of Ace, because all player limped before....of course i dont know the style of others players

Wow what a flop! You live for beautiful flops like that! To be honest, I think you can play this pot different ways. It just depends on the feel for your table and the other players in the hand. Checking in hopes of your opponents making hand can work, but the way you played it can work as well. I find that more often then not, playing it aggressively like you did is a more +EV move than just checking hoping for someone to hit something on later streets.

You have a beautiful hand, but with no raises preflop it is unlikely that anybody has an ace preflop, you already have two flushing cards which makes it harder for your opponents to have flushing cards, and in general people play much more cautious on monotone boards. Unfortunately, sometimes you go no action with your monsters.

An alternative would be to check flop and give you opponents a chance to catch up or begin bluffing.

Don't limp button at all (I've seen you do similar thing in a free roll video), where you limped 97/96s and made the straight flush in that also.

Don't bet pot here at all (what limps and can call a PSB)? Nothing, it's not like he's limping AA in a 9 man table, maybe limps a small PP but 22/44 other than that it's nothing else.

Give them a chance to try to bluff you out?

Also did you automatically like bet pot, or did you take some time to bet pot? I only ask because that also could factor in for being another reason they folded.

Yet for what it's worth nh

this is my second straight flush for a month! I put together the first in the tournament and also the bank was empty! I put the other hand, too, on this forum ... the last time he played slow-play ... Only on the river made a small bet and fold all at once ... such a rare and powerful combination, but how to play it properly?

I always do a little pause before bidding ... Five seconds ... even if you believe in its course of action, it is still doing a short break ..

There's really no reason to check the flop at all. either they have a pair or big club and want to continue or they don't.

Would they honestly limp with a big pair B preflop in a 9 handed table?
