Pre-flop: ($0.03) Hero is MP+2 and dealt :10h4: :jh4:
4 folds, Hero raises to $0.06, 2 folds, SB calls $0.05, BB folds

Flop: ($0.14) :qh4: :4h4: :3h4: (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.10, SB calls $0.10

Turn: ($0.34) :qh4: :4h4: :3h4: :6h4: (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks

River: ($0.34) :qh4: :4h4: :3h4: :6h4: :3d4: (2 players)
SB bets $0.14, Hero calls $0.14

Is it ok to try to steal from this position with those stats?, i usually don´t open that wide from MP or try to steal there with so many people behind but aside from sb (which i don´t mind to play post flop IP) this guys where folding a lot and when call is straight forward.

Also, how the line looks on the hand?, i check on turn because don´t want to be raised/make me fold.

Looks good. You can open this because CO and BTN are super tight so you'll get absolute position most of the time against SB who is starting to look like a fish. I like checking the turn it allows him to bluff the river. nice hand

Thanks jbbb.

Just want to make sure wasn´t really out of line. Raise to 8-9c don´t make any difference right?. a 55/9 still will call i think, reason why decide to go standard 3x, also make it cheap if CO/BTN/BB wake up with a hand.

Result
Showdown:
SB shows :kc4: :ah4: (ace-high flush)
Outcome: SB wins $0.59

+1 to line looking fine, always calling river. I think betting turn/checking back river is ok too.

Yea, always was calling river there.

About the betting turn, i guess we can have value there if he have a lower hearth (2, 5, 7, 8, 9), but the problem is that if he pops back i will cry, so i decide to better check.

Thanks guys.

bet the turn for value. why would you cry? if he pops back it's an easy fold.

Yes, but we beat 5 hearths and get beat by 2, and if he pops not necessarily means he have the bigger 2, if he have the Ah is more logic to just call then pop river, if he have the Kh he could not be popping because afraid of Ah, but is 2nl, people do random stuff all the time, so could have 7h to 9h (some times even with 5h) and still pop back in turn (which will suck for us to fold) , so i really prefer to check back than take chances on fold what could be the best hand even if mean cut a little value, also if we are beat already will be saving some $´s.

Make sense, or nou im full of ...?

it makes sense but no, it's not true.

almost every poker player starts out as a showdown-driven/MUBS player who checks back good/non-nut hands because your natural inclination is to think, OMG what if I get check-raised?

Getting check-raised makes life easy.

1. If you get check-raised, you fold.
2. When you get check-raised in this spot you are 99.999% beat, and 99.9% by the Ah, because people will just call down with the 2nd nuts, because that's what people do.

If you had a set here, it'd be a different story because you certainly do not want to get check-raised off a set.

Since you have the hand that you do, there are two possibilities:
1. You are missing out on value by checking.
or
2. You are drawing dead.

This is somewhat thin vs. certain players but since this is a huge whale his range for calling the turn is really wide. The good news is if you get called here you can also give up on the river.

Agree with you, but i guess never see it like been check-raised make our life easy, i mean if we going to fold every time we get check-raised when don´t have the nuts people could check.raise to us every time and probably be +ev for them in long term, so this is why give me a hard time to understand.

Need to learn a lot, thanks man.

Nits and loose-passives are the easiest to play against.

Think about how ridiculous it is for him to have the hand he shows up with here and to play it so fishy on every single street. Do you think that guy is ever raising you on a bluff or value-raising worse? Do you think he has a properly balanced range when he check-raises?

A nit you play the same way, except vs. a nit you can just shut down after the turn and fold the river.

You can pretty much crush micros by playing reasonably well preflop and going bet/bet/bet postflop and pretty much folding anything but the nuts when they raise you. This means folding AA on low boards when a nit limp-calls and c-r the turn on you. Don't worry about getting exploited, these players are incapable of exploiting you.
