Hi everyone, I have two situations in this post that is very common for me and I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. Should I make a Cbet on this board with these hands? I played both with Check. My thinking is that high cards are very much in the range of the villain, and they will Call my Cbet with a high frequency on those boards. What do you think? And if the board is rainbow, would you do something different?

Yes to both. Both players have fishyish stats, and you're repping a range that hits that board well. Throw in your outs to the nuts, and those are fine cbet spots.

ye cbets are ok. You have some equity and you don't want to play it as check/call. Also you fold some PPs in villain range.

I like the formulation of Misaki, “You have some equity and you don't want to play it as check/call.” Some hand value + some fold equity + some improvement equity = CB is good. Then again I don’t mind not CB because drawy board is fine not to CB, but both cases I don’t think you can then call if villain bets. Especially nitty players, you like to CB almost 100% because they fold enough.

Yes to both.

Both of those boards look to favor your range instead of theirs.

I would slow down unimproved on the turn/river at these stakes.

It depends on your style, both hands hit your range, may be you have AK at first hand, and have AQ at second hand, you can mix your range to cbet both hand , decide at turn, its not a mistake.

Check both as these flops hits villains but you do have outs. So cbet gives them good play to make big reraise and you have to fold. Check gives you the option to call once and evaluate turn card.
