re: Poker & $2 NLHE Full Ring: Should I call the shove on the Turn? with a pair?
I don't think it's horrible, but you do need to ingrain in your head that players will play passive in most spots. That being said, they also will over value their hands, so it's a fine line. Usually though they will over value by calling down too far, not getting their stack in, unless they are a gambling micro player.
On a side note, why do you all you guys raise so small at these stakes? If you're doing this because you watched some training vids of guys opening 2.5x or 3x, that strategy shouldn't apply to most micro games. You want to open at least 3.5x to 4.5x in your games. You're still going to get called by worse a ton, and this way you maximize the value of your good hands. You shouldn't need to play a wide range of hands at these stakes. Play good hands for max value, play some speculative hands in position, and allow the money to flow into your BR.
