I think I should be shoving the river here or at least overbetting...thoughts?
If he had TP on the flop then I really doubt hes going to fold trips. I doubt he has AJ or J9 for the flopped straight cause he just C/C on every street. I did bet like 80% pot or something but I realized I think I should've overbet here.

Thanks!

Also strugling with bet sizes but i think will bet smaller on this (smaller meaning around half pot or less).

If player hit his K or str8 betting half or lower we induce to he shove over. But if we shove or overbet we make Qx, Tx or lower PPs fold, also if he was chasing the flush and bet small could make him call vs overbet/jam.

Yeah by over-betting or shoving you make all the Qx, Tx, missed FD and missed SD hands fold.

Do another 2/3 - 3/4 pot bet, like Logan says, he will probably shove over if he has something strong, he possibly shoves missed draws, and you may get value from Qx and Tx hands.

I would have raised 4xBB preflop here, will help you build a bigger pot later.

Personally would v-bet around 75-80% here because if the villain is ok to call twice on this board the river should of improved their hand a somewhat decent about of the time and at 2nl i dont think people are value shoving Kx here unless they are bad

Villian could have easily been on a draw here and missed...if so shoving here will get him to fold. I may bet small here- maybe about half pot- and try to induce him to shove a miss flush or straight draw as well as Kx. He may even call a small bet with queens, which he would have folded if you shove. You really are only getting value from trip kings if you shove and you don't want to fold out hands that would call a smaller bet.

I think I did end up betting like 75% pot here. I think I agree with everyone saying that I should bet 50% to induce him to come over the top if he has a hand like trip K's or even a straight - even though I think he most likely just has TPGK. Thanks for the pointers everyone!

Bet bigger on the flop and turn. You need to get value from drawing hands that won't know or won't have the discipline to fold at $2nl.

On the river I would bet more than 50% but probably less than 75%. It's possible he only called with an OESD or an OESD+pair, but you have to give him a shot to make a loose call with middle pair or something.

The smaller (non-shove) bet isn't so much to induce shoves as it is to encourage his weaker hands to continue. If he has trip kings the money is getting in whether you shove or bet (and then HE shoves). He's never gonna shove draws as a bluff here imo - this is $2nl.
