If a player doesnt get out of line much.. why call.. at worse hes got aces kings queens with a heart... even no heart is still doin well.... we beat top pair which is out of line.. two pair quite a risky play for him perhaps.. hes doin this with a set or overpairs... wheres the value in calling

I like the 3bet pre. It's closer that you may think as it's Full Ring and we're 3betting vs UTG but I still like it.

When the BTN cold calls, I think he's going to have QQ, big Ax hands, maybe even KK/AA if he's tricky, maybe some TT/77 and even 22 if he's a weaker reg.

The main point being here, if our read is good, he rarely has anything we're happy to get it in against here. If we're lucky, he has AK/AQ with Ah and even then, we're only a slight favourite but most often, he's going to have us drawing thin (again assuming your read is good).

It's easy to overestimate our equity is spots like these and get carried away, which is what may have happened here.

I think i would make a disciplined laydown in this hand. It can be tough to play jacks as is experienced by players most times.

But when tight players raise and put all their money in this spot then i don't mind folding jacks here.
