8x pre?

1st you can't really count the Qs as outs. With that min raise you're getting direct odds to call and see the turn I guess.

Shit flop for QQ though. Honestly not sure why you even bet the flop?

epic misclick pre

and WV either the Q's are outs and we're behind.. or the Q's aren't outs coz we're already ahead.

can't be both except for AQ/Q9 but we have sick blockers to both.

@WVH: The reason I c-bet the flop was to try and tid then and there. He's calling wider than Kx and I figured he was folding a lot of J's and T's.

The 8x was due to the way party pokers bet options are set up. 4x apparrently mean 4x 2bb's the bb not 4bb's.

You forgot AK/K9.

Also didn't say we weren't ahead. But I guarantee you that if we turn a Q and a bunch of bets go in, we're behind!

If he's calling wider than Kx how can you be expecting him to fold Js or Ts??? Seem contradictory to me.

Meant he's calling wider than Kx preflop. So on the flop there's a lot of hands he'll just fold to a c-bet. And I don't think he's continuing with worse than top pair.

So your reason for betting was to get him to fold worse or call with better? I think you may have misread the reasons for making any bet. :)

lol thats what I thought..

either we bet for value or as a bluff.

check back here maybe? betting is prob ok but if he raises you on this board its kinda unlikely you're ahead.
