Hi All,
I am new to the forum, and have been playing poker consistently for about a month now. I think I have a fairly decent grasp on pre-flop play which has kept me out of a lot of trouble. Problem is my post flop play is rough. I figure the best thing for me to do is start posting hands and asking questions. I started out on 2+2 but they didn't seem very friendly towards the newbies. This forum seems much nicer in general. So here is my first hand for review.
PokerStars - $0.02 NL (9 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3
Hero (UTG): $2.46
MP: $0.91
CO: $1.60
BTN: $2.06
SB: $0.74 - First hand with him and he took off after this hand.
BB: $2.76
SB posts SB $0.01, BB posts BB $0.02, CO posts DB $0.02
Pre Flop: ($0.05) Hero has Q♥ Q♣
Hero raises to $0.08, fold, fold, fold, SB calls $0.07, fold
Flop: ($0.20, 2 players) 3♠ 3♥ T♠
SB bets $0.12, Hero raises to $0.24, SB calls $0.12
Turn: ($0.68, 2 players) K♦
SB bets $0.42 and is all-in,
I feel like him being all in this would be ok to call. I'm curious what you would do in this situation and if lets say he had a larger stack and this didn't put him all in.
