you could continue, you have good blockers to the flush and to the straight but if you feel unconfortable with the call you have to fold

#1, why don't you have a full stack? (my apologies if this is a 50BB max table, couldn't tell)

#2, why are you cb'ng this flop? This is definitely one of those flops where you don't want to cb.

As played, no problems folding to the raise, you only beat bluffs and you posted no reads about the villain that would change this.

Although you have the blocker, your chance to win the pot is very small since only bluffs will lose to you. And I also think that you shouldn't have done that cbet once there were higher cards on the table than yours and it's unprofitable in the long run, checking would be nice, then let your opponent decide what to do, if he checks again on turn, in my opinion you should then make a strong bet to extract value, and if he calls, just forget this hand, if he folds, better.

Hi. You didn't post any stats or any information on how the villain had been playing, assuming the SB is a standard 2NL player, imo that is absolutely a fold as played. As for the c-bet on the flop, well, at 2NL you can sometimes get a weak Ace or a King to fold right there and win a small pot or get a pocket pair or worse to fold that you would have beat anyway, so I don't think it's that out of line. If called it does put you in kind of an awkward spot the rest of the hand though.

I would suggest buying in for the full amount. I would also check back this flop with this hand almost all the time. Very little reason to bet there.

Definitely for me it's a check behind on the flop. Control the size of the pot, because you are rarely getting called by worse on the flop. No need to get out of hand on this board, you are going to get into way better spots with QQ to play for stacks another time.

every action on the tables should have a reason...it ( a bet) should always try to achieve something...maybe to force oppo to fold (a better hand than yours)...maybe to gather info...maybe to build a pot if you have a good hand or a good draw.

Maybe a good question for you to ask yourself here is " what are you trying to achieve with this bet?" It is doubtful that you bet would make your oppo fold a better hand than yours considering the board....maybe a weak sooted king might fold...K4 diamonds for example if oppo would check call pre with this.

to check here, and to control the pot would get you no info on your opponent's holding. Your bet here achieves the following...it gets info on your oppo's holding...ie you are probably beat.

It is just possible that oppo could hold 2 hearts and is building the pot in case the turn/river hits.

I don't mind your bet here...it will (should) make a lower pair fold, or at least make them pay to draw to a set ...and it makes them pay to draw to the straight or the flush.

I think you were probably beat, and your fold was correct. You can only beat a heart draw or a bluff.

If you had checked, and the turn was a brick...6 diamonds for example...and oppo had made an 8c bet, what would you have done?

make the note on your oppo's play...move on to the next hand:)

There's backdoor flushes and a gut shot... I'd see one more turn for .12 more into that pot
