I have several conflicting interpretations here, and I don't know which one is correct:

  • Hero played correctly, trying to extract value while minimising losses, in case BB had a flush or a straight.
  • Hero should have played more aggressively, by betting more on flop to protect the QQQ, and raising/going all-in on later streets if it gets to those.
  • Hero should have folded once BB got aggressive and there were flush and straight draws on the board.
BB's stats are unknown (I don't use trackers). Would appreciate your thoughts.

1. Blind vs Blind. I would always limp/3bet with QQ as this can protect marginal hands
2. Flop I would bet slightly larger possibly 60% pot , worse price to draw
3. Turn raise I put villain on 9T,QT, lower sets, KJ , 8sxs, 8dxd
4. If villain bets on river, I am quite certain beaten at that point (most likely 8sxs and sometimes KJ) and wouldn't call unless he has shown bluff with busted draw or identified as LAG player.

Bet way more on the flop and turn, bet the river as well. Pretty straightforward hand.

I agree with the general consensus ITT. We should be betting larger to exploit the overall player pool and get value. I would still bet river since 8x shouldn't be a large part of the villain's range on the river, and the flush that got there was the backdoor one.

Bet way bigger on flop and turn, board pretty darn wet here. V will call whatever if he connected.

In micro limits the fishes hit something like overpairs, underpairs, draws, AK-AT or worst and don't give up unless your moves represents something bigger than they have or don't drop it. Study ranges and hand reading and slowly you will make the best decisions in that spots.

definitely bet more on the flop, you have the best hand and opponent might be waiting for a flush or straight draw so you have to make him pay for seeing another card.

My 2cents, any critics welcome (I'm aware i'm not an expert):
Why is your stack < 2$?, use auto top-up to the max is typical advice and prevents you being taged as rooky (either wrong or correct).
preFlop:
- I like the modest raise, small enough to get a call
postFlop:
- with a made set we're looking at potential straight and flush draw
- villain may defend the BB quite wide
- a pot size bet should take care of the draws, villain may have 2pair and thinks thats fine
Turn:
- villain is either bluffing, or made a hand
River:
- by not betting, you show weekness, hero should have bet (0.25 pot?)
- if villain raises (again): fold, you are likely beaten
