CO: $1.14
BTN: $1.02
SB: $2.12
BB: $2.11
UTG: $1.83
UTG+1: $0.47
MP1: $4.72
Hero (MP2): $2.70

Pre Flop: ($0.03) Hero is MP2 with 3 :diamond: 3 :spade:
3 folds, Hero calls $0.02, CO calls $0.02, 2 folds, BB checks

Flop: ($0.07) 3 :club: 7 :spade: K :diamond: (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.04, CO raises to $0.08, BB calls $0.08, Hero raises to $2.68 all in, CO calls $1.04 all in, BB folds

Turn: ($2.39) 6 :spade: (2 players - 2 are all in)

River: ($2.39) A :spade: (2 players - 2 are all in)

CO is 20 / 12 / 2.6 over 131 hands. Weak player in general, lots of illogical and bad plays overall.
BB is 24 / 10 / 3 over 180 hands, no special notices.

1. Going All In looked logical here since he is likely to call, worst case scenario is another set but more likely something weaker. Correct? If not, what is correct line here?

What's up with the limp preflop? HATE the flop shove. He's short and he's likely to shove over with almost everything but don't give him a reason to fold. Make it ~.25 and get some of the BB full stack money if you can.

Limp? Well if I am set mining then the more the merrier, right?

This makes the shove even dumber though but I really didn't think BB was gonna call a 3-bet anyway. I was specifically targeting CO, being almost certain he will call the shove.

OK so correct is just a normal 3-bet and let him shove over that, right?
- BB maybe joins in with another 0.16
- All In is almost inevitable this way

Question: Lets say I have a set and they don't, do I want one caller, two or more? More of them means more outs for somebody to crack my bottom set.

Set mining is calling an opening raise. Not open limping. That's just bad

If you have a set? The more the merrier.

Also as a general rule: Don't open limp!

OK but most of the time the flop will miss me, meaning most of the time if I raised:
1. in case of hitting a set I get less people in the pot (= less money)
2. in case of missing, I have to cbet bluff to have a chance, and people here will not fold often enough to make it profitable

So, what is the logic behind a raise here? Getting the blinds (maybe)?

If we raise we can
1) win the blinds
2) win a small pot if we pick up 1 caller and take it down with a cbet
3) win a bigger pot on average when we do hit our set

All of those things far outweigh the times we get 1 caller and then have to cbet/fold. Remember it's really hard to get stacks in when playing an unraised pot.

OK, thanks for the explanation, much appreciated.

In this case I run into another set (77), but I am not too bummed about it really. Same as KK vs. AA, I assume these things level out over time.

Learning something from this is the real profit here :D

that was a huge overbet, when he just min raises you there, i would 3 bet him, but not shove all in, you went from having .10 cent in the hand, into rejamming 2.60 on top of that. did you have BH?
