It depends... this is zoom right? So that being said, do we have any history with this V? Reads? Is he nitty?

So we are blocking A-K and A-Q. We could actually 3b perhaps pre, and obviously this is as a bluff... we are never calling 4b if we do this. If V calls, we could expect him to play fit or fold post-flop for the most part I would think. However, if we 3b we must be careful postflop... like if flop comes K-7-2r, and we bet, and V calls, then we are in no man's land sorta.

We can also just call, however, this is more passive, and we basically have to flop well or give up. So personally if V is not a nit, I like 3b line better than flatting.

Raise bigger pre. 3x. Maybe even 4x at these stakes. I don't mind your post flop play at all. NH. We could cbet bluff once, but we have very little equity. I don't mind just giving up... but I'm a bit of a nit I guess.

Fine until flop. This board is super dry. I actually don't mind checking back this flop to induce a bet from V on turn with worse. However, we must call at least once on turn. I just think this bet gets folds a lot, and doesn't accomplish getting value as well as checking back and letting him bet 9x, and worse hands.

As played, you bet twice, way too small IMO... and V donks river... no. I think I fold River as played. What do we beat? 9x? Too thin for me...

So officially, I think I raise pre 3x, then check back flop. We call V if he bets Turn, if he checks, I probably bet turn? I dunno, torn between check back and bet... anyways that's what I'd do.

Yes fold is fine on this flop. The dude doesn't even have a full stack. We could 3b pre, and it might not be bad here... I suspect this dude could be fishy based on stack depth alone... but if we 3b, then he ships, yuck. I'm totally fine with this hand. Well played.

Are you guys saying we are gonna just keep betting here, and move V off a better hand? Do you really think we are going to move a guy at micros off Ax on A-9-2-K?

He's not folding an ace, like ever. He has "the toppest of pairs" sir (if he has an ace).

However, given your LOL small bets on the flop and turn, he could easily have 9h-Xh.

Edit: Something changed on this river. He has us beat. We can't call the bet on the river.

I think best chance we have of getting value with the QQ (from a hand we actually beat) is checking back flop, and calling his turn bet. Kinda like this.... here is an example....

14. CO or HJ. ($360ish) Jh-Jd. Straddled pot, 2L, we raise to $50, both limpers call. Flop A-5-5r. Checks through (we are last). Turn 7c (two clubs). First dude bets $65, folds to us, we call. River Kc. Checks through. Dude tables 9-9. We win.

Or here is another from about 2 weeks ago.... this is a different spot, we are OOP here, but still illustrates the point....

5. BB ($618) Ks-Kx. Limpers, like 5 of them. We raise option to $45, 1c (MP). Flop As-7s-3c. Checks through. Turn Qc. We check, dude ships for $135, we call. River 10s. Dude rolls Kc-8c, and says "I missed". We roll out, and scoop. (+$194)

1st situation: I would call even if I was a 3x raise just to see the turn.
2nd situation: I would raise 3x because the 2x mini-raise attracts a lot of people to the flop.
3rd situation: I would give the same raise of 3x, but then I would give a continuatin bet of $ 0.12, so I would block for the flush.
4th situation: Your move was bad, I would have given a re-raise of $ 0.12, I believe he would have folded, and when he continued to bet his call would not be bad.

My opinions, thanks fera !!!

We met at the tables, thanks.
