obviously this is a dripping wet board, however the guy who shoves before me is some crazy fish who pulls these sort of shoves with lots of draws. Obviously this isn't the board I wanted to see with my overpair

I think this is part of the problem playing micro stakes. The money means nothing to a lot of people, so even if you raise preflop you're going to get several callers as you did in this hand. I know he didn't win, but 8 9, suited or not, is junk, as is K 8 suited. If the players were good, they wouldn't play that crap, and the hand would've come down to you and the guy who had pocket 7s and flopped a set. Unfortunately, that happens sometimes and your overpair is tough to get away from.
