Was checking the river ok? If an opponent got the 8 would they still check because of the straight?

Not saying you're wrong but why did you donk the flop? What made you call the flop raise and what was your plan for the turn?

^ agree. Hate the flop donk. C/r flop IMO or c/c donk turn

Donked the flop as a blocking bet! Afterall I have an overpair and OESD.

Wanted a straight, it was 15c into 75c pot. So with the other guy I thought I'll continue.

Ye so why are you trying to block bet? This flop is epic for your hand. Besides your block betting into a guy with an infinite aggression factor, why would you assume he's not raising? 74 hands tell you he's gunna raise your flop bet. If you donk the flop, you have to think ahead what you're going to do if he raises (cos the stats say he likely will). That's why I prefer c/r a lot. Plus c/r traps more dead money in the pot when BB Cbets and the other guy cold calls.

And ye, I'd rage of you didn't want to continue on this flop lol
