At the time villian was ~4/3 over ~85 hands.

So because of this I put him on AA,KK,QQ or maybe JJ/AKs.

When he just called pre I suppose AA wasn't possible and KK is unlikely as I hold it.
On the flop if he had QQ i'm beat so I checked back to keep the pot small.
On the turn I was thinking JJ after his two checks, so I bet (bit still pretty small). Same for the river. IMO I should have bet a little bigger, but I didn't want to create a massive pot then have him jam on me on the river. (in heinshight I suppose a c/r on the river is unlikely from this player).

Yeah during I kinda suspected he didn't, after I was 100% sure as it would be re-raise pre, c/r flop all that stuff etc etc.

lol hell no. He was at the very bottom of his range.

Jacks.

e: oh yeah Tyler + SIP.. say he check-raises the flop, fold or jam? Probably jam as I'm pretty much pot committed with him having ~$1 left after his c/r?

Lol stop using a HUD at 2nl and just bet your big hands big. Besides, 85 hands it's such a worthless sample.

Checking the flop is okay, but you need to raise the river if you're going to play it this way.

Yeah if by raising river you mean betting a little bigger then I suppose so. It might fold out his mid-pairs if I bet too high though?

I would only check the flop if I'm hoping to get hero called by worse on an overbet shove later. Probably raise more pre too.

I don't think this is very good advice - we shouldn't bet small because we are worried about scaring our customer away we need to be looking at getting maximum value. You need to do this:

Bet flop bet more bet bet bet bet.

Try to avoid too putting villain on specific hands and look at his wider range (not that wide sure, but don't soul read). You say on the flop you think he may have QQ then on turn you think JJ - if so bet and get some value, I don't think villain is going to fold JJ here and will call 30-35c as often as he call 27c so get value. Come the river what has changed? He doesn't have AA or QQ so you are way ahead here - don't bet so small.
