UTG+1 - UTG+1 ($2.72)
MP - MP ($5.25)
CO - CO ($1.00)
BTN - BTN ($2.12)
SB - SB ($2.00)
BB - Hero ($4.03)

Preflop: ($0.03, 7 players) Hero is BB with Ah Ac
1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.02, MP calls $0.02, 3 folds, Hero raises to $0.18, UTG+1 calls $0.16, 1 fold

Flop: Qh 3h 3c ($0.39, 2 players - Hero: $3.85, UTG+1: $2.54)
Hero bets $0.25, UTG+1 raises to $0.50, Hero ?

Preflop I went for what I like to call a "greedy" raise with my AA, I sometimes do this against fish who like to call a lot. On the flop I think I'd meant to bet more to target flush draws and Qx which he won't fold to any size. But then he raises...but his AF is only 1.1! But then it's really tough for him to have me beat on this board, I'm only losing to QQ and 3x (even a fish probably doesn't have TOO many 3's in his range) and it's possible he might raise with Qx if he doesn't know what he's doing...should I just go with the hand for 125bb?

I think the proper play is to call. Raising only puts you into trouble and folds out the bluffs that would continue. Folding is too weak, because there is a decent chance you have the best hand. That leaves you with calling.

On the turn you should re-evaluate his range of hands he will continue with. Is he the type to bet AQ or KQ like this for value? Is he capable of double barreling as a bluff? How much 3x and QQ hands are in his range?

To better define his range you will need to figure out whether he is bluffing based on his cards in relation to the board or whether he bluffs based on what his opponent's have (in this case, you).

How often would you continue a bluff on the turn in his shoes based on the way you've been playing? Often times other players will think in the same way if your table image suggests that you'll do something even though you won't.

It would be great to know how many hands he has, but with someone being this passive, it's best to just shove here. If he has Qx, he's not folding. If he has a draw he's likely not folding. Some other small pairs and he might stack off thinking you're bluffing.

I don't mind calling, but the only issue is, him being so passive, you're not including a bluffing range in there at all really. So he either has a hand or he doesn't, and when that's the case it's best to just go for value. If you do call the flop, then I'd lead the turn small again simple because you don't want him checking behind, which passive players will do a lot. They're passive for a reason.

Thanks, I did shove and he called me with 99...but why a loose passive fish raises the flop with only a mid pair and then calls off his stack is beyond me. I did have almost 200 hands on him too
