$5 NLHE Full Ring: KQs open UTG vs min 3B from Fish UTG1

I do know I shouldn't have opened UTG with this hand right? But It seemed good to pass considering the table had fishes and this hand can at times connect to the flop in a big way. Anyhow got min 3bet from UTG1 who looks a complete fish. Obv we cant fold after opening for that raise.

Flop hits us good as we have an OESD but considering I was against a fish I did not want a big pot until we were in the green so planned x/c for pot control. Fish leads a ridiculous bet which we call.

Turn is blank for us but now 2 FD on board. Still planned for the x/c but he against bet a ridiculous amount. My thinking was that maybe he is on a silly hand like 5x or Tx or maybe drawing himself. A check raise may push him off or get us good if we connect on river.

River bricks us off and now we can only win the hand with a fold as K high would definitely not hold. Villain did tank on the turn c/r so I decided to fire a river bluff which again after some consideration he called.

1-Did we do wrong by playing this hand?
2-Did we play this too passively?
3-Was our c/r on turn a bad move?
4-What was the ideal play for the river?

Fold preflop. MP is about the earliest you should be playing this.
Fold to the 3-bet. He's 3-betting an UTG open, which shows strength even with the min-raise, and he doesn't raise all that much.

If you want to play your draws aggressively, check-raise the flop. As played, once he calls the insane strength you show by check-raising the turn, he's got something he's not willing to fold. My guess is TT+.
River bet is spew because of this. Just check/fold.
