Stats on villain: in 15 hands a VPIP of 40

This hand confused me. What I think from my part what I played wrong was the turn and river. Why call there? Would he bet with any worse than my king high?

The reason I called was because I thought it was a good price to chase a draw.

Any comment is much appreciated. I'm a bit confused about this one :)

Usually when high VPIP player with low RFI bets small he is scared and betting for value, but what is he scared is player specific and well not very clear.

So here his range could be something, for example {A2-A8,KT }, and many draws, but because draws miss he will never bet without value, he just thinks his value is not ‘good’. Why bet KT? Board is scary for flus draws, he needs to protect. And yes, sometimes they do that with nuts =) or at least the nuts he made on the flop. So calling turn was ok, but folding river better. And btw had you had Ax hand yourself you would have gotten easy money out of him.

If you have a reads, and try to bluff him, he mostly call because so many draws but folds mostly if you barrel river too, but that won't work every time and the price to call is good, and he won't fold TP.

Edit: I think I would have called river too =)
