Just want a line check up if I played this correctly. Before the 4bet I did not realize there was a caller in between the 3bet, either way GII on the 4bet should have been the best way to go I think. It was only after the 4bet I realized that the hand was 170bb deep for 2 players. Anyway 3 or 4 bet usually meant a high pocket pair or AK and the board was dry so if Aces then so be it right? So post flop I tried to get the rest pot committed. What do you guys think?

Smaller bet on the flop. In a 4-bet pot, your standard c-bet is usually around 40% of the pot.

UTG+1 is a fish, just fist pump as you're shoving the money in.

You are right and thanks, I did not know the standard cbet in 4bet pot. Does the same apply to 3bet as well? I betted on the higher side bc I was disappointed in my preflop play and wanted to just GII on flop. Not the most balanced state of mind I admit.

Yes UTG+1 was a fish and sucked out with the worst combination possible :smokin:

Sizing may be a bit off, but I don't think it is that big of a difference, never folding live with the results.

I think that just about sums it up. The preflop 5 bet was low, 40 to 45BB would be much better.

At $0.02 NL you can expect to get called by the 4 better 75% of the time, so betting bigger pre flop to get a better SPR is much better. When UTG+1 called (monster bad) the 4 better was getting fantastic odds to call and hit.

Good job on the play. Don't worry so much about the results. Suckouts will happen.
