Okay so heres what was going through my head as I was playing this hand.
PREFLOP: Looking back at it I would have prefered raising to $0.08-$0.10 Preflop, but my general read on the table was that it was pretty tight so I didn't want to scare off my action.
FLOP: With 4 villians going into the flop action checked round to me and I wanted to thin the field a bit so I bet close to pot size to try give the drawing hands bad odds
TURN: The ten of clubs didn't really scare me as I thought any hands with tens like (AT, KT) etc would have folded on the flop. So action checked to me and I decide to continue value betting and made it roughly half-pot on the turn. SB folds, BTN calls. At this stage I put my opponent on AQ.
RIVER: Ts, I liked this card because it kinda made me extra positive my opponent didn't have a T in his hand, also it improve my hand to a boat. So I stuck with my read of AQ. I thought about checking to see a showdown but I stuck with my read and tried getting value in on the river, thinking that AQ or even KQ would almost always call. The villian at this point had only $0.85 left behind so I raised it $0.50, He tanked for a long time and used his whole time bank (I thought he was going to shove) but ends up folding.
So obviously my read was off and I have spent a long time looking at this hand trying to figure out what cards that my opponent will call the flop and turn with, then fold the river? I have ruled out flush and straight draws as I was giving him bad odds to call on both streets.
So if you have actually taken time to read this haha I would appretiate thoughts and opinions on my play, bet sizing, tweaks you would make etc. also viallians range here? Thanks a lot CC I'll leave a link to a visual replay of the hand if anyone is interested.
