I was a bit tilted when I played this, I usually think pretty hard about whether to 4bet but I hammered this one in fast. Was a guy at my other table with stats something like 80/13/4 who had been driving me insane for about half an hour and my blood was up a bit  (Ended the session a couple of hands later and went to chill for a bit, as I was aware he was getting to me and didn't want to lose the $ I was up with some silly move.)

I feel like I need to c bet that flop 100% of the time after the 4bet with the A coming down, or I'd come off looking weak and get easily pushed off with the fear of him having an Ax hand, JJ or 99 probably also in his range. If he check raises me, I fold. If he donk bets I fold, and if he leads out on the turn I fold.

In my mind I'm representing AA when that board comes down. The bet sizing just under 50% was to get him thinking that I was trying to underplay it a bit. Possibly too fancy for 2NL?

Should I be uncomfortable considering taking this to showdown if he calls me here? (I certainly would have been.) Is it worth a turn barrel as well if he doesn't raise? And then shut up shop on the river if haven't scared him off? I think that is how I would have played it. There are a lot of Ax in his range. I was pretty happy when he folded to be honest, he spent ages thinking about it and I had a bad feeling he had AK.

Not many hands on him so hard to read a lot into his stats. My table image at the time was pretty loose.

Thoughts?

Imo i like to bet fold here. He still has some QQ, rarely KK that a good bet will scare off. If he raises, easy fold, if he calls the flop, check/fold all turns but a K.
