I have now folded re raises against my JJ twice today to find the other players have QQ and KQ. Definitely fold.

It depends. Stats/reads on villains?

Generally pretty happy to get it in vs. UTG. If UTG is so tight that you shouldn't get it in pre for 44 bbs then you should actually just fold to the original raise.

Both fairly tight.

Yeah against a maniac I'm calling every time but against a tight player I should lay down.

What does fairly tight mean?

You have odds to continue in this hand if you think SB is going to stick it in with worse. Whatever he has, he played poorly. Barring UTG being like 5/2 over 500 hands I'd pretty happily stick it in here.

If they are both fairly tight then just fold to the ship by UTG. The reason why is the SB. If he wasn't in the hand, sure just get it in versus the short stack. When a tight player (SB) cold calls a 3bet this is usually a very strong range. You have to realize that he will be continuing a lot of the time here and you can't put in 1/3 of your stack and then fold. His range is probably something like QQ+ and AK which you are a 2 to 1 dog against.

I would highly consider just calling the initial raise preflop. You have a hand that is around a flip versus a tight player's EP range. You can easily just call preflop, with the benefit of position, and play it like the nuts when you flop an overpair, straight draw etc.
