fold, fold, MP calls 1 BB, Hero raises to 4 BB, MP+2 calls 4 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold, MP calls 3 BB

Flop : (13.5 BB, 3 players) 6d As 9d
MP checks, Hero bets 8 BB, MP+2 calls 8 BB, fold

Turn : (29.5 BB, 2 players) 2d
Hero checks, MP+2 checks

River : (29.5 BB, 2 players) 9c
Hero bets 19 BB, MP+2 calls 19 BB

Making it 3bb + 1bb per limper as usual, getting two callers. On the flop I feel I should have bet bigger, maybe somewhere around 10-12bb? The range I would give my opponent when he calls is all of the aces: AK, AQ, AJ, AT, A9 and maybe some lower suited aces as well; flush draws (ranging from 6-10 combos of them based on how many lower suited cards I think he will call with preflop), and sometimes sets if he decides to slowplay with 66 or 99.

The turn is where I seem to have no idea what is best, check or bet? Because if I bet I might fold out some aces because he thinks I have the flush, and the flushes will sometimes re-raise me, making it a tough spot especially if he puts me all-in. And if I check he can check behind often, and I will miss out on a lot of value.

Tell me what you think about the river bet as well.

And all in all, should I have gone for more value along the way, and if so, how?

we need to bet turn and not give any free cards to the flush

also a lot of action killers on river like a diamond... ea u wont get anymore action for two pair or a set perhaps or top pair.

i think betting more on turn and shoving if raised is awesome on turn... we dont want atc getting there and we will get so much action from the hands we do crush like bottom set middle set... Ad draw Kd draw or baby flushes... Ax hand or two pair hands

So in short: No... we lost value due to turn being checked... we want stacks in if we can. Also if they call 8bb perhaps they will call 10bb on flop as well.

I agree with Aces2w1n. Even though he could have the flush on the turn you still have 10 outs to improve your hand, that's another reason you don't need to be scared betting the turn.

Sure you could have make the flop bet a little larger, but on the other hand you need to have a good read on the players to know what bets they will call

Agreed! Turn check is usually for pot control and oop we already are at an disadvantage in terms of extracting value plus we have a NFD. Our goal is to go for stacks and if villain has anything on the board he might tag along for the ride/ or even try bluffing you for the pot :D

Apart from the turn check you played it fine. Top set with 18 outs to improve further and you check!?
You don't want to see another diamond roll out on the end as it will kill the action for you so get money in before. You have the Ad as well which vastly reduces the number of flushes he could have here.
Its actually quite difficult to see what he's calling with here other than the case ace, TT JJ or a set, maybe 78s but that doesn't call the river.
Apart from a set there isn't much that will call all three streets so you probably weren't getting much more anyway from most of his range. If he did have a set you lost money not betting the turn. Think big hand = big pot and get your money in there.

I missed the flush draw when counting the outs :p 18 outs is really good!!
