I don't generally use JQ, mainly because I've only just started playing, so I'm trying to keep it tight. I was wondering if the call was the right move here?

My main question here is should I have raised at any point, the reason I didn't raise post-flop is because he always seemed to fold hands to a raise here. I didn't bet on the turn because I thought that he would fold if he didn't have a king here. However on the river I checked because I kind of panicked in case he had an AQ or QK. However I think his raises would have been larger had that been the case, and therefore I should have bet on the river. Any thoughts?

This one I don't really know what to make of it still. his re-raise pre-flop and large bet post-flop made me think that he had aces. Should I have kept on this one or was it better to fold here?

Thanks for any advice.

Hand 1 - You definitely missed some value in this hand. River is a definite re-raise spot the way you played it - or -you could have raised the turn and lead out for value on the river.

Hand 2 - We should have 5bet pre flop for a minimum of around 65 bb. Anyways you should still be shoving all in on the 7 high flop.

Overall playing a little less passive than you are playing right now might reap better rewards. :bath:
