$2 NLHE Full Ring: Hey folks, I've just come off a game and am unsure of some of my plays.

Hey folks, I've just come off a game and am unsure of some of my plays, any help in evaluating my play would be much appreciated.

I have no idea if there is a maximum number of hands I can post in one go, so if this is deemed excessive I apologies.

Hand 1

888 Poker - $0.02 NL - Holdem - 7 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (BTN): 153 BB
SB: 33.5 BB (VPIP: 14.49, PFR: 2.90, 3Bet Preflop: 4.00, Hands: 69)
BB: 181.5 BB (VPIP: 33.33, PFR: 19.44, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 36)
UTG: 19.5 BB (VPIP: 53.85, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 39)
UTG+1: 99 BB (VPIP: 0.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 2)
MP: 58 BB (VPIP: 22.92, PFR: 12.50, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 48)
CO: 100 BB (VPIP: 0.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 3)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has K<font color='black'>♠</font> J<font color='black'>♣</font>

UTG calls 1 BB, UTG+1 calls 1 BB, MP calls 1 BB, fold, Hero raises to 6 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold, MP calls 5 BB

Flop: (15.5 BB, 2 players) T<font color='red'>♦</font> 4<font color='black'>♣</font> J<font color='black'>♠</font>
MP checks, Hero bets 11.5 BB, fold

Hero wins 15 BB

With this one did I raise too much post-flop?

Hand 2

888 Poker - $0.02 NL - Holdem - 7 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (BB): 152 BB
UTG: 46 BB (VPIP: 13.43, PFR: 2.99, 3Bet Preflop: 4.17, Hands: 67)
UTG+1: 170 BB (VPIP: 32.35, PFR: 17.65, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 34)
MP: 19.5 BB (VPIP: 56.76, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 37)
CO: 100 BB
BTN: 58 BB (VPIP: 23.91, PFR: 13.04, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 46)
SB: 100 BB (VPIP: 0.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: -, Hands: 1)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB, CO posts penalty blind 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 2.5 BB) Hero has 5<font color='black'>♣</font> K<font color='red'>♥</font>

fold, fold, fold, CO checks, fold, fold, Hero checks

Flop: (2.5 BB, 2 players) 5<font color='red'>♥</font> T<font color='black'>♠</font> J<font color='red'>♥</font>
Hero checks, CO checks

Turn: (2.5 BB, 2 players) 7<font color='red'>♥</font>
Hero bets 1.5 BB, fold

Hero wins 2.5 BB

This one seems a bit of a mess, the only reason I play these hands on the BB is if I just get called pre-flop. Should I have raised pre-flop? My assumption is that I shouldn't as I wouldn't normally play this hand, unless I got to see the flop for free

Hand 3

888 Poker - $0.02 NL - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (CO): 160.5 BB
BTN: 53.5 BB (VPIP: 15.38, PFR: 3.85, 3Bet Preflop: 3.57, Hands: 78)
SB: 98 BB (VPIP: 0.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 4)
BB: 100 BB (VPIP: 0.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 11)
UTG: 44.5 BB (VPIP: 26.32, PFR: 10.53, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 57)
MP: 209 BB (VPIP: 8.33, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 12)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has A<font color='black'>♠</font> K<font color='red'>♦</font>

UTG calls 1 BB, fold, Hero raises to 4 BB, fold, fold, BB calls 3 BB, UTG calls 3 BB

Flop: (12.5 BB, 3 players) A<font color='black'>♣</font> 5<font color='black'>♣</font> 4<font color='red'>♥</font>
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets 6 BB, fold, fold

Hero wins 12 BB

This hand is similar to hand 1, in that I'm not sure if I could have extracted any more money. I contemplated checking but the potential straight and flush draws caused me to bet, was this the better option?

Hand 4

888 Poker - $0.02 NL - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (BB): 168.5 BB
UTG: 53.5 BB (VPIP: 15.00, PFR: 3.75, 3Bet Preflop: 3.45, Hands: 80)
MP: 27.5 BB
CO: 22 BB
BTN: 41.5 BB (VPIP: 28.81, PFR: 11.86, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 59)
SB: 208 BB (VPIP: 7.14, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 14)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB, MP posts penalty blind 1 BB, CO posts penalty blind 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 3.5 BB) Hero has Q<font color='red'>♦</font> 5<font color='red'>♥</font>

fold, MP checks, CO checks, BTN calls 1 BB, fold, Hero checks

Flop: (4.5 BB, 4 players) K<font color='red'>♦</font> T<font color='red'>♦</font> 9<font color='black'>♣</font>
Hero bets 3 BB, fold, CO calls 3 BB, fold

Turn: (10.5 BB, 2 players) 7<font color='red'>♦</font>
Hero bets 7.5 BB, CO raises to 18 BB, fold

CO wins 24 BB

Looking back at this hand I think I should have called, since I have an inside straight and flush draw. Since this was a loose player I think Queen was a potential high pair, giving another 3 outs. In total this would have given 16 outs. Had he had a king I believe he would have raised post-flop, and the raise on the turn was probably in response to a diamond coming on the turn which may have meant he either had a flush draw or had hit the flush. By now I'm just rambling so sorry, this hand hurts my head, but is probably an easy decision for more experienced players.

Once again I'm sorry if this is too long. Thanks for any help.

The first hand was played well. The cbet on the flop was fine. 2/3 of the pot is a fairly standard bet size in this situation.

Second hand....Fine. As for whether you should have raised preflop? No. Like you said, K5 is garbage and you wouldn't play it unless you can see the flop for free.

Third hand.....(i feel like I'm starting to repeat myself a little bit.) Fine. Good preflop raise, and the bet on the flop was also the right move. As you pointed out, there were a few draws out there. You DO NOT want to let them get there for free. So you have to bet and make them pay to chase their draws.

Ok...4th hand. We finally disagree. I think folding was the right move. The turn card filled in TONS of draws. With the villain just calling your bet on the flop, he could easily have a straight draw or a flush draw. The villains turn raise was a bit on the small side leading me to believe he wanted a call. IF he already has the A or K flush, you are drawing dead. IF he has any other flush, you are drawing to 7 outs (Which is ~5.3 to 1). Not to mention those times you make your straight or flush and he has a bigger one. (you will double him up almost every time). In this situation (even against a loose villain) I would suggest folding almost EVERY time. There are just to many hands that can hurt you. Just my 2 cents. Good Luck at the tables!!

First three played perfect i think.
For the fourth, prefer a check. Hits his limping range more than your checking range & there are a lot of good turn cards for you, so get a free card.

4th hand checking your option and suddenly betting. It can only be a bluff. I don't see a reason why we should start betting.

Hey folks, I've just come off a game and am unsure of some of my plays, any help in evaluating my play would be much appreciated.

Can you specify which hand are you unsure of the way you played ??

Personally going through all 4 hands i got an impression you know what you are doing - especially the first 3 hands. You hardly faced any resistance from your opponents in these hands. Yeah the last one you tried to double barrel bluff but you knew that was a risk and made the correct laydown in the end.

You are playing fine overall. :)
